without any hope
in need of mercy
who can never really atone
for my sins alone
God, be merciful to me.

I’ll never be holy
unless God is merciful to me.

my Savior
gave His life
my sin to atone forever
so I could know
the Father’s favor
God IS merciful to me, a sinner!
