For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does he withhold
from those who walk uprightly.

O Lord, be our Sun and Shield!
S - Sending Your Son, You sent salvation.
U - Under Your Son, we have all good things.
N - No good thing do You withhold.
A - All who turn to You find mercy.
N - Nothing is beyond Your grace.
D - Days in Your courts are better than years elsewhere!
S - Shine on us, O Sun of grace!
H - Help us in the day of battle.
I - I would rather be Your doorkeeper.
E - Early rains fall over our deserts.
L - Longing for You fills hearts with joy.
D - Dwelling in blessing moves us to worship our sun and shield!
O Lord, be our Sun and Shield!
