In the morning
opening the pages
I see You there, Lord
and I begin the day
walking in the truth
As I reflect
on what Your Word says
and I trust You, Lord
to speak to my way
walking in the truth
Throughout my day
I look back
at what You say, Lord
and I continue to commit
walking in the truth
So at close of day
as sunlight retracts
I reflect on Your Word, Lord
thankful for direction in it
walking in the truth
