Renew My Strength

but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings like eagles;

they shall run and not be weary;

they shall walk and not faint.

On eagle’s wings I long to fly.

Lord, renew my strength!

My strength I find is getting dry.

I feel as though I just get by.

My life near gone, I just may die.

I long to run and not be weary.

Bring light to what is so dreary.

The trail ahead in mist is blurry.

Calm this soul that’s in such a hurry.

Upon You, my Savior, now I wait.

You’ll clear the path, open the gate.

Peace will replace this anxious state.

Your wisdom always directs my fate.
